The carabiners are designed specifically for ropes courses, and they even feature built-in pulleys that can be used with any sort of zip wire.

The intercommunicating roller carabiners are at the heart of the Smart Belay. When one of the carabiners is opened, the other carabiner’s opening mechanism is automatically disabled. The magnetic locking device is a new feature: when an integrated magnet comes into contact with the steel rope, it releases the opening mechanism of the Smart Belay.
